An opportunity for those involved in assessing for access arrangements to update their knowledge of assessment tools and processes and the JCQ Access Arrangements for GCSE/GCE for 2017/ 2018
   Course Detail

This course has been specifically designed for those experienced in conducting access arrangements assessments for GCSE and GCE examinations. Delegates will have previously completed a full day's training course on access arrangements. The course is appropriate for assessors at both secondary and continuing education establishments.

   Learning Outcomes
  • • Explore the current regulations with particular reference to the changes for 2017/ 2018.
  • • Review the selection of appropriate tests, including any changes to the recommendations
  • • Consider the requirements for gathering and reporting evidence from the centre and the specialist assessment.
  • • Reflect on complex or borderline cases. The session will include the opportunity to discuss cases with colleagues.
