   Course Detail

No two students with specific learning difficulties are alike, meaning that all assessments have their challenges!

This CPD package is designed as a ‘sounding board’ for the assessor needing to share ideas and hypotheses with a Professional Practice Mentor before coming to conclusions.

Best practice is, rightly, evolving all the time meaning that you may need support in keeping your reports valid and up-to-date. You can use this package to check practice, interpretations, conclusions and recommendations.

It provides opportunities to:

  • ·         Share exploring ideas and hypotheses to arrive at diagnostic conclusions
  • ·         Explore practice to assure validity and currency
  • ·         Develop interpretations, conclusions and recommendations.
  • ·         Enhance your skills of assessment practice
  • ·         Enhance your skills of differential diagnosis

This package offers:

  • ·         Online access to a personal Professional Practice Mentor for one month (equivalent to one hour per week), which is sufficient time to bounce ideas, question and discuss profiles together and complete an individual or even a series of reports.
  • ·         Or a full review of a recent DAR by your Professional Practice Mentor, as required, with feedback of strengths and any issues that need addressing for the future.
  • ·         An annual subscription to the Patoss Professional Practice Community forum: one year’s continued support on the monitored forum.
