   Course Summary
The Better Reports package is aimed at the newly-qualified specialist assessor, or indeed anyone wishing to improve their report-writing skills with the individualised support of a Professional Practice Mentor.
   Course Detail

Perhaps you are a newly qualified assessor and need a guiding steer – a second opinion for a profile not encountered during training or clarification of an assessment procedure that you may not have had the opportunity to use before. Alternatively, you may be an experienced assessor who simply wishes to check and reaffirm your practice, in line with current thinking.

This CPD package offers support for an extended period, which could be sufficient time to obtain feedback on a variety of profiles. You are in charge of how you use your time (with your mentor’s guidance of course!) but you could check an initial report to make sure you are ‘on the right lines’, or make sure that your report writing remains at the expected standard at a later stage of your career.

Included in the package:

·         Online access to a personal Professional Practice Mentor for an extended period of three months (equivalent to one hour per week); this is time to validate your practice, resolve any concerns you may have for any aspect of your work, and complete an individual or series of reports.

·         An opportunity to review at least one DAR with your Professional Practice Mentor, with feedback of strengths of the report, and issues that need addressing for the future. This is not compulsory but is recommended.

·         An annual subscription to the Patoss Professional Practice Community forum: one year’s continued support on the monitored forum.
