The WJ V is a revised and expanded version of the WJ IV with the major change of moving from easel and pencil-and-paper administration to digital administration. This webinar, presented by Nancy Mather, an author of theWJV, will cover the new tests in the WJ V ACH and WJ V VTL and explain how these tests expand interpretive options and can be used in dyslexia evaluations. Several of the tests within the WJ V ACH do, however, require the use of a Response Booklet for the examinee’s written responses. Although many of the instrument’s basic features have been retained, the extensive renorming and addition of new tests, clusters, and interpretive procedures improves and increases its diagnostic capabilities.

Description

The WJ V has three main parts:  the WJ V Tests of Cognitive Abilities (WJ V COG), the WJ V Tests of Achievement (WJ V ACH), and the WJ V Virtual Test Library (VTL). The WJ IV oral language tests have been incorporated into the WJ V COG, WJ V ACH, and VTL. The tests in the VTL can be used with the WJ V COG, the WJ V ACH, or can be administered on their own. In addition, two tests, Number Series and Story Comprehension, appear in both the WJ V COG and the WJ V ACH. This webinar will cover the new tests in the WJ V ACH and WJ V VTL and explain how these tests expand interpretive options.

This webinar will introduce the new tests of the WJ V ACH and WJ V VTL and explain how these tests enhance interpretive options.
