June 2020 Webinars

Given the continuing restrictions on large gatherings, as an alternative to the annual conference, SASC is putting on 4 webinars from some of our key speakers, so that assessors can receive updated information we were planning to share at our annual conference. You can attend these webinars through our Zoom platform. By signing up for these online events, you can update your CPD remotely.

Thursday 4th June 11.00-12 noon.  Rachel Simpson Chair SpLD Test Evaluation Committee (STEC)  The new pre and post 16 SASC Approved Test Lists

The lists will be ready for publication on the SASC website by June 4th.

 

Friday 5th June  11.00-12 noon.  Elisabeth Hill Professor of Neurodevelopmental Disorders at Goldsmiths, University of London. Working with the new SASC guidance on assessing for DCD / dyspraxia. 

The new guidance is on the SASC website, downloads page.

 

Thursday 11th June 11.00-12 noon.  Jane Warren SASC Board member (ADSHE representative) Assessing reading and writing speeds


 

Friday 12th June 11.00-12 noon.  Rachel Simpson Chair SpLD Test Evaluation Committee (STEC)  Suitable tests for the investigation of suspected dyscalculia.

A test comparison table will be available on the SASC website by June 12th.
