   Course Summary
Course Rationale: This course offers students a theoretical understanding of the terminology frequently used in test manuals and when assessing for dyslexia. It provides practical examples and gives the delegate an opportunity to practice working out confidence bands based on a test’s SEM. In addition, it explains about significance and prevalence when using the WRIT and provides opportunities to consider whether verbal and visual scores should be combined.
   Course Detail

 This course offers delegate a theoretical understanding of the terminology frequently used in test manuals and when assessing for dyslexia. It provides practical examples and gives the delegate an opportunity to practise working out confidence intervals based on a test's SEM. In addition, it explains about significance and prevalence when using the WRIT and provides opportunities to consider whether verbal and visual scores should be combined.

  • Pre-requisites Delegates should be qualified assessors with a Level 7 Qualification in SpLD or trainees currently undertaking Level 7 SpLD study.
