The course will cover key aspects for consideration when choosing standardised tests, and the correct administration and interpretation of these tests, including:
Reliability and validity
Age appropriate testing
Costs and accessibility of tests
Standardisation
Currency
Interpretation of results
Interpretation of statistical data
There will be the opportunity to consider in depth a selection of tests from the following list: WRIT, WRAT 5, Adult Reading Test, DASH, CToPP, WIAT 2T, and Diagnostic Reading Analysis, Access Reading Test.
