   Course Summary
The vast majority of people with dyslexia will be in the workplace. This course enables diagnostic assessors to extend their practice into the workplace. On the course examine how to make recommendation to reports written for University students to transfer to the workplace. Learn how to advise employers on making reasonable adjustment to comply with good practice, which makes their companies more successful commercially
   Course Detail

This course is for diagnostic assessors who want to extend their practice into the workplace. It will examine relevant areas in relation to assessment, recommendations, current legal frameworks and procedures, and link to best practice in relation to adult assessment to the benefit of employers and employees.

It will include:

·                     Adding recommendations to a DSA report for the workplace

·                     Diagnostic assessments for the workplace – what is similar to DSA reports and what are the differences

·                     Legal framework (Equality Act, 2010)

·                     Access to work

·                     Reasonable adjustments and strategies

·                     Workplace needs assessments
