Lia Castiglione will cover:
· Changes to the JCQ regulations for the year in context and the implications for practice
· Discussion of some newly published or less well-known tests that meet the criteria for access arrangement testing
· What centres need on file for the JCQ centre inspection
· Case studies to contextualise some key regulation changes
· Questions about the 2025-26 JCQ regulations and access arrangements more generally
Who should attend?
This course is designed for education professionals who have a working knowledge of JCQ access arrangements and are responsible for implementing or supporting these within their setting. Roles will include:
· SENCos and Access Arrangements Coordinators leading the access arrangements process within a centre.
· Assessors holding a qualification to conduct assessments for access arrangements (see JCQ AARA 7.3.3 and 7.3.4).
Prior Knowledge Required
This is not an introductory session - it is ideal for those seeking a refresher or annual update.
