Description
The foundations of Patoss Mentoring are built on professional dialogue and a shared approach to exploring specific areas of professional practice identified by the mentee.
The aim of Patoss Mentoring is to provide a service for specialist assessors that enables and facilitates the exploration and development of professional practice through focussed, individualised support from quality assured mentors.
Learning outcomes
- Development of confidence related to identified areas of assessment practice
- Updated knowledge on current SASC guidance and requirements for Diagnostic Assessment Reports
- Enhancement of skills in the interpretation of statistics
- Development of confidence in SpLD diagnostic interpretations and associated recommendations
- Reflection and action planning for future CPD activities.
Course prerequisites
- Patoss members should have a qualification in SpLD assessment.
- Non-members must have an appropriate APC level qualification or a current APC from another awarding body.
