Outline of the evolution of the test and how it has been developed for use in the UK (UK project)
WIAT-III T UK has evolved with representative UK norms and an Anglicised adaptation from the US edition, ensuring suitability for the UK setting. This adaptation includes adjustments in language and stimulus content. These enhancements make it a valuable tool for educators, facilitating standardised administration procedures and enabling effective use and interpretation for tailored interventions in the UK educational context.
Following Carolyn's talk, Armande Fryatt, an experienced assessor who uses the WIAT-III looks at the practical administration of the test, focusing on a recently-assessed 13 year old boy, diagnosed with dyslexia as a Case Study.
