Approval: Peabody Picture Vocabulary 5 (PPVT-5)

STEC has approved the Peabody Picture Vocabulary 5 (PPVT-5) for inclusion on the test list and has published an associated guidance document: Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test, Fifth Edition (PPVT-5) Guidance November 2025.The PPVT-5 is a test of an individual’s receptive language and is co-normed with EVT-3 for paired assessment of receptive and expressive vocabulary.
